Like the name says, Sheryl Long Golden's gallery has got rocks…a lot of them. Dedicated to rocks in all their various and wonderful forms, Gotrocks showcases crystals, fossils and minerals, gemstones, and extraordinarily shiny, tumbled rocks. There are gemstone fountains, artist made jewelry, and large, museum quality rock specimens for interior and garden decorating. Artist and metal smith, Julie Rauschenberger, who specializes in 22 karat gold jewelry, is also on hand in the afternoons to assist with custom jewelry requests. In addition to the retail side of things, Gotrocks sponsors classes on such varied topics as jewelry making and stone cutting, and holds special events including local digs for sapphires and quartz crystal, as well as lectures and slideshows from gemstone miners and dealers.
